Orient to Castell d´Alaró
Puig d’Alaró was once occupied by the Castle, but after hundreds of years it is only partially covered by the beautiful remains. The Castle has existed from before the conquest of Mallorca. The hike is about 7 kilometers and has amazing views of Mallorca, as far as Palma. The views of the mountains and the valley of Orient will be enjoyable for all hikers, beginner to expert.
Cala Llombards
Cala Llombards is the mouth of the torrent of Son Amer, located at seven kilometres from Santanyí, next to the village with the same name. This quiet white sandy area, which continues for many metres toward the interior, until the pine wood by which it is limited, is surrounded by very high and steep cliffs. These elements explain that the beach is mostly visited by the families who live in the houses nearby. One of the highlights of Cala Llombards is the excellent panoramic view from the mythical geological feature of es Pontàs (big bridge in English), a rock which has been eroded by the waves that seems a bridge in the sea. There are also some escars in the cliffs, used by the fishers to keep their boats.
La Victoria & Smugglers cave
This excursion takes you through the coast and the mountains of the northern peninsula and is a great way to see the best nature in Mallorca. Moreover, the peninsula La Victoria is considered one of the most beautiful spots on the island because of its unspoilt nature and the beautiful landscapes. After the hike you can enter a cave once used by smugglers. This hike is great for both beginners and experts and takes you through an area declared as a “Natural Area of Special Interest”.

Canyamel
Canyamel is situated at seven kilometres from Cala Ratjada, between Cap des Pinar or des Raix and Cap Vermell. It is a valley through which the torrent with the same name flows the whole year, where ducks and marine birds live, and next to Serra de Sant Jordi and Puig Negre. This touristic and residential area is located nearby a wetland formed by the torrent in its mouth. The beach is beautiful and you can also visit the Coves (caves) d Artà (450 metres wide and 310 metres long), the second in Majorca, situated in the cliffs of Cap Vermell and visited by Jules Verne, Victor Hugo or Alexandre Dumas and others. This fine-grained golden sandy area is very crowded by local visitors and tourists.
